Starting at your smartphone, tablet, laptop, television, and other electronic devices can lead to tired, itchy, dry eyes, blurred vision, and headaches. These symptoms are caused by computer vision syndrome or CVS. However, you can minimize smartphone eye strain by following a few simple tips.

Here are 5 tips to save you from smartphone eye strain:

1. Blink

Make sure you blink often to keep your eye moist and reduce dryness and irritation. Keep your eyes moist by linking approximately 10 times every 20 minutes.

2. Minimize Glare

If your smartphone isn’t equipped with a matte screen protector film or anti-glare corning gorilla glass, it’s a good idea to buy an anti-reflective coaching and apply it on your smartphone screen.

3. Take Breaks

I’m sure you’ve heard of the 20-20-20 rule right? You should take a break every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away. This will help you relax your eye muscles.
